The location is really just a few steps away from a corner (crossroads rue Manin and rue de Crimée) of Parc des Buttes Chaumont, the largest park in Paris.
Nearby public transportation include :
- bus lines : 48, 60, 75, all stopping for example at "Mairie du 19ème")
- metro : line 5 stopping at "Laumière"
APARTMENT & BEDROOM
The building is rather recent and clean, and offers an elevator, and interphone controlled access.
The apartment is very well kept and clean, the landlady usually works during weekdays.
What is proposed includes :
- shared use of the living room, the kitchen and the toilet with the landlady;
- private use of one bedroom and its private bathroom.
The bedroom faces the very spacious courtyard with trees and lawns, and offers double glazing windows for best isolation.
It also offers a double bed, a desk and two foldable chairs, curtains and cupboards, and a double lamp. Inside the bedroom but in a separate space, the bathroom offers a bathtub with shower nozzle and a washbasin with a small cupboard with a mirror.
Availability and price
The bedroom and private bathroom are available starting August 1st, 2018, for a long term stay (usually 9 to 12 months) of a quiet and orderly tenant, often a student.
It is of course understood the move-in date could be during the month of August and the rent would be counted only from that day one
The monthly all-in rate payable each month in advance to the landlady is 650 euros, and includes the room's share of rent, charges of the building, access to Internet and to the washing machine and other equipments of the kitchen, as well as heating, hot water and electricity.
Free phone calls are included but any call beyond the limits of the Freebox Revolution flat rate, would be charged in addition to the rent.
The refundable safety and key deposit is equal to one month of rent.
A rent payment guarantee equal to the last month of rent, payable upfront on move-in date, is applicable.
A letter from the parents confirming they support their daughter financially during her stay in Paris for a certain amount of money each month (ideally 3 times the amount of the monthly rent), is highly recommended to strengthen the application file.
A one time reasonable relocation fee is applicable.
